(Closed) Which name do you like best?

My niece’s name is EmmaRose so I like that name 🙂 And I was the nanny to a little girl named Ava and she was the sweetest most awesome little girl ! So Ava gets my vote 🙂

There’s a couple on there I love, but could only vote for one. Ava is my absolute favorite. I also like Kensley and Peyton.

I really only like traditional names, so that leaves Emma and Ava, is there a chance that Emerson, Kensley and Addison will be mistaken for surnames or a boys name?

Depends on the last name but I like Kensley and Peyton (although for a girl I might spell it Payton, for some reason the spelling with an e seems boyish)

They are all too trendy / popular now for my tastes, but if I had to choose from those, I’d go with Emma.

@MeeshelleMyBelle:  I agree! Go with what YOU like, not all of us. But that being said, I am a teacher. Oh dear..can I tell you how many McNames there are? We have so many McNames that young moms are even inventing their McName and the McSpelling. It drives us teachers crazy. LOL.  The other trend that has teachers rolling eyeballs in the lounge are any names that rhyme with Aidan. You aren’t having a boy so you don’t have to worry about the other EIGHT boys in the class that all rhyme-Jayden, Braeden, etc… All of our girls are rhyming right now with Maddie: Addie, Haddie, etc…that might help you with Addison. Since “Private Practice” those Addisons are everywhere in our city. My vote for your poll was Peyton. Second choice is Emma. (2 cents: I don’t care for names ending in LY because an LY makes an Adverb. LOL)
