So I’m a little bored today and I’ve been obsessing over a few baby names lately so I thought I’d have some fun and create a poll 🙂
My Fiance and I aren’t any where close to having babies (we’re 24 and 25 and want to wait a few more years) but we discuss baby names every now and then for fun. Here are a few we both kind of agree on (which has been hard lol):
Girls: (you will notice a trend in the middle name I like for girls)
Brooke Elizabeth (we both like this one)
Kaitlin Elizabeth (we both like this one)
Aria Elizabeth (FI isn’t too fond of the name Aria, but he didn’t shoot it down)
Peyton Bradley (we both like this one – I’ve been obsessed with the name Peyton lately)
Bradley (we both like this name – haven’t thouht about a middle name yet)
Jack (is my FI’s name but if we chose this it wouldn’t be a junior as my Fiance hates his middle name – this might be confusing since it’s also FI’s name)
So just for fun, what are you favorites? Any suggestions? I like names that aren’t super common but aren’t “weird”. Fiance tends to like more traditional names…

Sorry, I voted for Peyton as I was sure it was a girl’s name. Well I have a niece by that name anyway.

I love Jack for a boy & Kaitlin for a girl.

Jack and Aria. I also prefer Kaitlin spelled with a C rather than a K. Caitlin, looks prettier to me for some reason.

I also like Aria and Jack! Great names!

@FauxBoho: I spelled it with a K because that’s my middle name and that’s how I spell it haha

@trueblue14: I can see where it would be a girls name but I just think of Peyton Manning who is obviously a guy lol

I love the name Jack. Just Jack!

I like Brooke and Bradley.

Peyton to me is a girl’s name too as it is my niece’s name.
I always loved the name Jack for a boy. Classic and timeless.

I like Brooke. It’s classic and not a name you hear everywhere these days. Kaitlin is okay, but there are so many little Kaitlin/Caitlin/Katelyn’s running around already. Not a fan of Aria.
For boys I love Jack. I’m having a boy and it’s high on my list, though it’s becoming a little too popular for my comfort. Bradley is nice, too. All of the Peytons born in recent years that I know of have been girls.

Love Aria. It’s unique without being too difficult to spell/pronounce (coming from someone whose name is never spelled/pronounced correctly)
I’ve known girls named Peyton, but I’ve always thought of it as a unisex name. I think Payton is more for a girl IMO but I love both.

I like Brooke! I know too many Kaitlin’s to like it that much, though one 4th grader I know with the name is one of the best kids I know. Aria’s not bad either, because it’s easy to pronounce.
My rule is always: If the kid’s teacher looks at it on his/her list on the first day of school, what are they automatically going to read it as?
A teacher can get used to spelling Jeffrey as Jefri, if that’s what you really want… as long as it looks the way it’s pronounced.
I like Bradley best, of your boy names. Peyton makes me think of a girl. Jack makes me think of Titanic.

I like Bradley best. I also like Jack but it would be slightly confusing.
Not a fan of Brooke but don’t hate it, totally disagree with a PP that it’s “classic”, I don’t find it classic at all, I think of the “Brooke bumper crop” in the 80s. Like Caitlin better than Kaitlin. I think I like Aria best. How about Aria Kaitlin?

I LOVE the name Jack. I had been set on naming my future son Jack for ages… and then Fiance came along with his dumb one syllable J surname, and that ruined it! Jack sounds so horrible with our family name. Haha. So I vote Jack!
