I have the Maggie Sottero Rehearsal Dinner1044 dress and I was thinking about alterating it to a sweetheart neckline, what do u all think?

I think it’s super pretty! It’s great that you’ve got pictures of the dress already altered to a sweetheart. It looks gorgeous!

I personally like the original design better.

I definitely think the original is better. The sweetheart neckline combined with one shoulder is too much going on to me.

That is a beautiful dress! Although, I do like the original neckline better because I think the sweetheart neckline takes something away from the dress.

I prefer the original design – with the straight across neckline. That dres is awesome but there’s a lot going on with it already. I just think a sweetheart neckline would make the dress too busy with everything else. Generally speaking, I just feel like fashion designers who create all of these bridal gowns are the experts and for a bride to change the neckline isn’t a good idea. I mean if the designer wanted a sweetheart neckline for the dress then there would already be one there.

It’s your dress, but I think I prefer the original design, too. I think with the beautiful detailing, you don’t want too much at the neckline to take away from the ruffles.
