@juliana192:  Yep, there’s a toilet. I think it’s a boy writing his name in the snow with his pee type of thing? I don’t know.

@Aqualov:  LOL Idk why but conserving water like that seems so silly to me. I’ve worked at a power plant that consumes millions+ gallons a day like its nothing! Thats not to say I am wasteful, I try to keep my water bill down as much as possible

If I ask him a question and he thinks the answer is obvious or will be obvious in a few minutes, he just doesn’t answer… like, no response at all.  He’ll be doing something and if I ask “what are you doing?”… he’ll just keep puttering away or putzing around as if I’d said nothing at all.  It drives me INSANE and I’ve told him a million times that it makes me angry when he acts like I am not even there… and yet he does it anyways.  Ugh.

@juliana192:  Ok this might be overly critical but when my fiance plays video games he does this weird nervous crap (like if hes at the end of a game or something important is happening). He sits on the floor and like… twitches? Bites his nails, spazzes a little, makes weird facial expressions, thumps the ground, etc. Idk why but its such a turn off when he acts like this – and he doesn’t even know that’s hes doing it!

OH and another thing that his whole family does. They ALWAYS wear jeans, shoes, sweatshirts, etc in the house. Lounging on a sunday watching tv? Must wear sneakers and jeans. Cooking near hot stove? Must wear northface jacket. FFS the temperature is usually too warm for me to even wear long sleeves… When I catch my fiance wearing PJ bottoms and sneakers I just laugh but it bothers me so much for some reason

@allyfally:  OMG I know what you mean about the shower/tub. My fiance always positions the shower head at the perfect position to miss the edge of the curtain and spill water everywhere. “But it evaporates!” Ugh.

Luckily I don’t have to worry about hair/fuzzies because my fiance doesn’t have either!! (alopecia)

All of his little annoying habits I can live with, but the one thing that just grosses me out, that actually gets me upset is…he licks his food.

If we’re eating something and it’s dripping or spilling out he will lick up the side of it. examples: We’re eating sandwiches and some avocado/mayo is starting to slip out on one side, he will lick it.

I find it so repulsive. He drags his tongue up the length of it. I don’t understand why you wouldn’t just take a bite out of it.

He scrapes his teeth over his cutlery when he eats. Not just banging them against it (which he does too), but scrrraaaaping over the metal. It drives me crazy and it makes me shiver so hard, but he finds it funny. :’D

@HeatherMM:  I had my sewing kit under the sink in the kitchen, and he went in and I caught him moving it to the hall closet. That closet is so full that the only space is on the top shelf that I can’t reach, which is why I put it under the sink. when I caught him moving it I told him to please put it back where I had it. Apparently it didn’t make sense under the sink lol.

When he cracks his neck by turning his chin to the left and right- it sounds like an accordion or something! Or he’ll lick his plate OMG. Makes me so irritated! Lol he will only do it when it’s just me and him obviously, but it is just..no. NO. And then he just smiles at me and says “you love me for who I am rightttt!!!?”

My SO used to hiss. Like, I don’t even know why exactly but if she was annoyed at something she’d his at it. I think it’s so stupid I finally couldn’t take it anymore & said something. She hasn’t done it since.

Most of the quirks listed on here I’m more guilty of than her. Since the hissing thing stopped there aren’t many real quirks that she hasl. I on the other hand am guilty of leaving clothes on the ground, leaving cabinet doors open, dishes in the sink, etc. Whoops =/

He doesn’t wipe his fingers if they’re greasy and then touches…everything…

For example, he’ll eat a bag of chips and grab his glass of water and there will be his fingerprints all over the glass. Same goes for dinner, say we have chicken drumsticks and salad, he will pick up his utensils to eat the salad after he’s eaten the chicken with his hands (and open the fridge door, and get something out of the cabinet..) with his greasy ass fingers.

If I can convince him to wipe his hands on a napkin in between, he will stick all of his fingers in his mouth and suck the food off instead. Super gross.

And he talks with his mouth full. wtf.

Wow, after reading some of these posts, I feel a little more grateful for my obsessively neat fiance. He’s even cleaner than I am, which I thought was impossible. I’m the one who leaves a towel in the bathroom too long or leaves crumbs on the counter overnight.

He does have one thing that annoys me though! He LOVES pets and our pets, but he doesn’t like their fur. He will lint himself like crazy and even change his socks if they get covered in hair while I just live with it (wow I sound like a cat lady!)…

I’ve had pets forever, so for me? I’m like “Dude, it’s just some animal hair.. Just pick it out of your pizza and keep eating.” (Just kidding, but you get the picture!)

My husband is a brilliant man but he does very nonsensical things. He will forget items WHEN I HAVE WRITTEN A FRIGGIN’ SHOPPING LIST.

He also procrastinates and that drives me nuts. Then he says I am nagging…if I didn’t remind him, nothing would ever get done!

These things are irritating because I thought that as the older and more educated partner, my husband would know better.

@beetee123:  Lol if it makes you feel any better, he hid my box of tissues on the floor in the pantry, underneath a bunch of plastic bags while I had a bad head cold.

@turnanewleaf: Ewww the greasy fingers!! My Fiance is the opposite, he refuses touch anything if his fingers are dirty. If his fingers get dirty, he will like draw his arm into his body and hold his hand out in a frozen claw-like position, rendering it useless until he washes his hands and it is functional again. Going out for Ethiopian food with him is so much fun (no silverware!) He also yells at me when I lick my fingers lol.

My Fiance does a couple things that are pretty irritating to me. The worst is grocery shopping. He truly does not know his way around the store and he ends up following me around like a little kid. I give him very specific directions like “go get some potatoes,” and I even give him the little bag to put them in, and he will just stand there staring at the potatoes, seemingly paralyzed by the enormity of the task. I find that if I just carry on and leave the area he will get his act together and hurry up. He probably thinks he’ll get lost or something if I leave him there.

And don’t even think about initiating any fooling around when “Big Bang Theory” or “Top Gear” is on. ‘Cause it’s not going to work. The house could be burning down and he’d still be in his TV trance.

I feel kinda bad for outing my Fiance but I had to vent 🙂
