We’re having a small, casual wedding. No seating plan and buffet style. Also no special eaters.
Smoked pork chop
Mashed potatoes with gravy
Green beans OR coleslaw
Theres things I love from both places, so I cant choose. They’re also within about $150 of eachother, so theres no huge money issue either.

@honeypatch: I like option number 1 better, although buttermilk biscuits sound good!

@_Adelaide_: Thats one of the main things keeping from outright choosing the first one, is that theres no bread. I guess we could just get a bunch of packs of those Hawaiian rolls though. Everyone loves those.

@honeypatch: I’m going against the grain and voting for #2 because the meat options are more appealing to me. But I would gladly eat option #1.

Both sound really good which makes it even harder to choose. Too bad you can’t combine them. I like the meats from 2 but the sides from 1. Gotta have those biscuits though from 2.

Wow….they BOTH sound yummy! Just a thought though…are the smoked pork chops served on the bone? If there is no designated seating, some people might stand to chat/eat/mingle rather than sitting back down. Trying to manipulate something on a bone could make that tricky.

@vttp926: I know, I wish I could hire both places.
No, they’re boneless. And they’re the most popular meat item from this place, so they’re probably very good. I dont eat pork chops, so I cant say, but my fiance is really wanting them. Unfortunately he also wants the brisket from the other place equally as much.
Why does this have to be so hard?

@honeypatch: Brisket baby! I’m addicted!

@LilRhodyGem: Me too! But this other place has the best roast beef I’ve ever had. Uck, so difficult.

Add a poll! I’d go for menu 1

You should add a poll. Based on the list, I like #2 but I’m not a big pork chop fan.

I’d go for #1, as I like the sides better. Also I’m not the biggest fan of turkey so you had me at roast beef and pork chops.
