I voted all of those, though going for drinks alone is something I have only done when I had to wait for time to pass and then meet someone or I was so depressed to stay home and nobody was available. It is not something I would feel ok doing THAT often.

Sometimes having your own company or a dinner date with a book is better than another person. Besides, I travel a lot and not being comfortable being alone to any of those would be limiting and very boring.

I work an atypical schedule, so for a long time while I was single and wokring that schedule I had to either be comfortable with doing those things alone or not do them. Now my fi can often take part of a day off to do something, so I do them less often.

merighthere : I’ve no issue with having coffee alone – I find coffee shops quite relaxing so I’d happily chill out with a big drink and a good book.
I had to eat alone in a restaurant for a week and hated it. Same restaurant each night as it was attached to the hotel I was staying in. I was glad to have my kindle but I felt really conspicuous! The staff were lovely though which made it a bit easier.

I could eat alone as long as it wasn’t a super busy couple oriented time like 7 PM on a Saturday. Same goes for movies. Mainly because you’ll get stuck beside people. I don’t even like doign that when I’m with my Darling Husband
I was a student living on campus… I can drink any time of the day and no feel weird, haha

I no longer have any issue doing anything by myself. Some times I just want to be alone. If someone else has an issue with it, that says more about them, then me.

I’ve done all of the above except go to a movie… I would rather stay home and watch a movie in my PJs then go out, or drag my mom with me so I had someone to share popcorn with
That said, you want to see a movie on your own, rock on! you do you… I have been to plays by myself (and not shit ones, I mean London West End Les Mis)

Eating in a fast-food type restaurant alone is fine, but in a place where they actually wait tables for some reason it’s always felt off to go by myself. The only other thing that I don’t enjoy doing alone is going to concerts– it’s more fun for me to have someone to rock out with and talk about the show wit.

I would and have done all of these together. I went and saw Bad Moms by myself, in the middle of the day. I felt so suburban, but let’s be real SO was NOT going to go see that with me.

Ive done all of these except drinks alone (but I dont drink anyway otherwise I probably would). My husband goes to alot of international conferences. I love to travel so I take advantage and go with him. While he is at the conferences I have to explore alone so I quickly got used to eating in restaurants alone etc.. Its something that feels awkward the first few times but you quickly get over it!

I’ve done all those things alone before (always with a book, laptop, etc.) except go see a movie in a theater alone. Just never thought of doing that. Netflix, jammies, a glass of wine, snuggled on the couch with a blanket, can’t beat it. Going out to a movie at the theater seems like a date night to me, so I wouldn’t want to be alone doing it.

I’ve done all of those alone lol, and I especially love watching a movie in the theater alone!

merighthere : I enjoy hanging out at coffee shops by myself sometimes. I just love the smell, that background music, and the ambiance. Half of the people I see there are by themselves anyway and busy with their laptops.

I go a lot of places alone, normally a few movies a year, eat, and enjoy coffee. I don’t really drink.
Debating doing Disneyland on Monday by myself, have once on accident cause I got stood up lol this was years ago. My pass is expiring next month and Darling Husband expired two weeks ago. I’ve had a pass for 12 years so I am sad we aren’t renewing and kinda just wanna go enjoy Starbucks, draw, and ride a few rides.

Can I just say I LOVE shopping alone… I hate shopping when someone else is with me!
Oh and the beach!! I really only enjoy the beach when I’m there by myself!
