I think both are great ideas! I’ve been to two weddingss one with the photobooth, and one with a candy bar. I thought the candy bar was cute, and it’s a great way to get around dong individual favors. People can pick their own. Looks nice at the wedding. The kids go crazy for it. Downside was tons of left over candy. Not every one took candy from the candy bar. I loved the photobooth! SO much fun! I still have pictures my Fiance and I took hanging on the fridge :). All the different props are a blast! The downside to the photobooth. Somtmes you have to wait in line…

I personally would go with the photobooth.

I’ve never been to a wedding where they had either but I would vote for the photobooth.  I’ve heard that the candy bar always has sooo much left over maybe b/c some people feel weird about helping themselves to too much candy.

I’m torn with this too.  I don’t want people leaving the party to go to another room or stand in line for the photobooth.  I’m not sure my grandparents or older guests would use it either.  I’m almost completely sure that every person would be fine with having an edible favor that they can choose for themself though.

photo booth..  People go nuts for them.  Even people who don’t normally like getting their pics taken.   Especially if you add props.

I say photo booth b/c I love pictures and I’m not a huge candy fan!

@Jamiezilla:  I went to a wedding in April – photo booth was at the edge of the dance floor.  People were dancing as they waited in line.

There are lots of people who don’t like to dance.  It seemed like there was something for everyone with the addition of the photo booth.

I’ve never been to a wedding with either, but the photobooth appeals way more to me.

I vote phot booth. But that’s because I’m not a big candy person.

My sister had a photobooth at her wedding and it was a complete blast! I LOVED it! Although, I do have to say that there were only a select group of guests that used it (mostly the bridal party and the friends). Many of the older group didn’t utilize it. But it is so fun to go back and look at those pictures.

The ONLY reason I’m not doing one is because she did and I have to be different (of course Tongue Out )

I’m doing a 12 jar candy bar at my wedding in March so hopefully it is a success!
