I will be getting married in July. Which one do you think, and why? Dont be afraid to tell me negative feedback, I will not be offended! 8′)
I know its a summer wedding, but I love the second one, it needs some work though. Does anyone have broad shoulders and muscular arms like myself? Could you post your self in your wedding dress if you have a similar body type. I would like to see your dress selection. If you could recommend a style to me, that would be great too!

I like the silhouette on the second one best. What types of changes were you planning on? To me, the shape just looks better on your specific frame.

I think the second one is more flattering for your body. It gives you a killer waist, and I love how it showcases your collarbone (which, IMO, is a really sexy but overlooked part of a woman’s body). I also love the buttons on the back. I’m a sucker for buttons.

Your arms and shoulders do not look in the least bit overly muscular/big in the second dress! I love the second dress way more than the first on you. The first dress is designed to show every single lump and bump on the body- which is why it really only works perfectly for models or pre-teens- aka people with no curves! The second dress is tight in the right places and structured in the right places as well.
I have curves, and I know I definitely need dresses with structure. Definitely the 2nd one!

I agree with PP. I like the second one, it is a gorgeous dress on you and your figure. I didn’t choose the first one becuase I think the halter top makes your shoulders look really broad. Sorry.

second dress flatters your body compared to the first gown.

I prefer the second one. It is very classic AND classy and I love what it does for your body. I also like the lace. I am a sucker for lace.

Agreed with the others–I like the 2nd dress much more, and I think it looks lovely now. What changes are you thinking of making? I think the halter style in general is not so flattering for larger shoulders.

The second one looks much, much better on you. I have broad swimmers’ shoulders so I didn’t want a strapless. Here is a pic of me in my Jim Hjelm dress.

The second one! It flatters you so much more than the first

I like the second one. And I like that it has a vintage feel to it!

I think the second one is more flattering on you.

Number two! Much more elegant and flattering

Another vote for the second one. I think it looks more flattering.

I also like the second one on you best. It’s beautiful and really flatters your figure by giving you the perfect balance.
I’m not sure what state or place you’re getting married in this summer. But unless the location is unbearably hot, I think you’ll be okay 🙂
