I’d keep the second one, especially if you will be wearing it as an engagement ring. Aside from personal taste, the chunky one looks like it would be more uncomfortable to wear on a daily basis. Can you sell them for comparable amounts? Just be aware that second hand diamonds typically sell for a fraction of the appraised value.

@allthingsshiny:  I would hold on to the first ring, the design has a uniqueness to it, I dont know the second ring value in a few years, but you can have them appraised also and make your decision from there. Also which ever one jumps up at you, more  hold on to it. Blessings

l would sell whichever gets the best price, unless one gives you more pain to let go of, bearing in mind how little you get for diamonds second hand. I am sorry you have to lose either.
