    Samsung Galaxy S3

    iPhone 5

They both suck- I have a different suggestion for you.

I came from the stone ages and have no idea what either of those are.

@MeiFrancis:  Probably the “It’s an Apple and therefore superior” mentality, as well as I think there are more apps for it than Android phones.

I voted other, OP. I don’t like Apple products, and I hated my Samsung phone. I love the Android platform, but the UI interface of HTCs is my favorite.

I really love iPhones. I have had the 3G and then the 4 and I just got my 5. Love it! They are just so user friendly which is great but they are also super popular so they have a ton of apps and cases available. I like the way they look too.

I love my iPhone and I’m not an Apple fangirl at all.  I had an android, but it was really buggy and had a lot of issues, so I switched to an iPhone last year.  iPhones just work.  I also haven’t had any problem with the new maps app yet.  I’ve heard a few funny stories, but the general consensus within my group of friends is that it’s pretty comparable to Google maps.

I have a Windows Phone and I LOVE IT.  Check out the Nokia 920 or another Wedding Party if your carrier has them.  I had an iPhone 3GS, an Android and Wedding Party… while I did love my iPhone, the Wedding Party is my favorite thus far!

I have the iphone 4S and my husband has the 5.. He loves everything about it EXCEPT for the battery life span.  He’ll go to bed with it fully charged…100%… and will wake up and it’s at like 70%.

iPhone. Even with the new map app that will lead you straight into the ocean when you ask for directions. It’s an innovative product and until this new one came out, it was the best smartphone in terms of functionality and features. Now it’s just got the design and screen going for it because other phones are catching up, but it’s still worth it.

I’ve never had an iPhone, but am using my upgrade in December to get the 5.  I’ve always had android-based phones, and they’re awesome for the first year, but after the one-year mark, they fail miserably at anything and everything.  This morning I used my data plan for 15 minutes and my battery went down 30%.  I’m tired of putting up with this shit.

I have the iPhone (4s) and love it! I was going to say though that they have updated maps on the iPhone now and it gives voice activated turn by turn directions. Works awesome every time I’ve used it! And if you need to say, answer the phone or go on the net, etc on the phone, the navigator stays on in the background and will still talk. You can just click back to it when you’re ready. I haven’t used the Samsung so I can’t say the iPhone is better, but if navigation is important to you, the update on the iPhone really is great!

I have the S3, S2, and the Galaxy 10 tab. Love love love them. I love the features, like hand swipe to screene capture, bump to share pics, files, and apps, and the extra drop box space included. I love the bigger high def screen, I watch movies on it all the time. I also like the flexibility I have with android. It also includes flash player, which wasnt available on the iphones. Also, when posting here, I have no issues posting anything, including pics. There are tons of reviews on you tube that compair the two phones, you should check them out. Watching the videos is the reason I first decided on the S2, It beat the iphone in all the reviews. I also love having all my devises work together seamlessly, even our new tv works with my phone. I have never had a problem with finding apps that I want, and most are free. Android has some great web sites to follow (I use flipboard to follow all the android news) that can help you with just about anything.

I’m in the same boat. We are between the 5 and the S3. Both of our contracts are up, and both Fiance and I have iPhones, and have had various iPhones for the past 5 years or so.
