Okay brides, I would REALLY love your help with this. As usual, I remain anonymous, so no self promotion intended. I just want to make a fancy metal print for my office and I can’t decide between these two (struggling for days now!). I posted them on my Facebook page with a mix of photographer friends, brides and family/friends and they practically tied, so I wanted a more targeted audience. Please help by voting on your fave!
P.S. Please don’t pin these or anything, as I plan to remove them once I get enough votes for a decision. Thanks! 🙂

wow, these photos are amazing! I’m also super jealous that you have great options for that sort of thing, haha. (We really didn’t get any options that we would want to enlarge and display in a focal point of our house. They’re all close ups, no landscape/scenery photos – I’m so disappointed!)
Anyway, back to your question! I chose the top photo because I love the water crashing against the rock, the fact that you two are off center, more buildings in the bakground, and that your husband is pulling you closer to him (he’s not in the second photo).

I wanted to choose the first one, because of the composition and the more natural-looking lighting. However, I just couldn’t. I LOVE the dramatic look of the second one! It just POPS!

I chose the bottom because I like that you can see more of both of you, whereas he’s standing more to the side in the first one. However, I don’t particularly love how much water is in the second one, I really like the waves crashing in the first! This is hard.

@PassionatePhotoLady: agree with PP, the first one is more visually interesting because you are not in the center of the photo, and the clouds, rocks and water movement look better in first one.

I chose the second one because:
I can see your dress more clearly,
The lighting on both on your faces is better,
The building is in the background. When I looked at the first pic, the building caught my attention, not you and your husband,
The lines of the clouds lead the viewers eye to you both,
And the overall angle is much more interesting to me.

Thanks everyone! This is super interesting to read the comments from brides. I should have clarified that I’m actually the photographer who took these, not the bride (not that it matters). I just want to make a nice metal print for my meeting space 🙂 Thank you guys so much for your help!

@oxstardust421xo: ProDpi, but if I were a consumer I would be seeing if mpix.com or adorama offered them.

@PassionatePhotoLady: Photo 1 is more dramatic with the splashing waves and I like the angle better so you can see more of the buildings in the background.

I like the waves better in #1, but I like your pose better in #2….tough decision!

I prefer the composition of #1 better, but I think it’s not as flattering to the bride and groom (specifically their posture) so I voted #2…
