Now that we’ve almost finalized our wedding date (finally!), I’ve been checking out different photographers in our area.. or, just photographers in general, I guess you could say, lol. For instance, there’s one photographer’s whose work I fell in lust with a while ago–but, she’s based about 5 hours South of where we are. There is another who is based in our city, however, and I’m beginning to love her work just as much. The prices are very comparable (other than some travel/hotel fees), so I’m not too worried about that.. but, I can’t seem to make up my mind between the two. The worst part is, is that they’re totally different styles (from what I can tell, anyway).
Here are their websites/blogs (in no special order):
Which work are you more drawn to?

I like Figgie more. Samantha is great but my taste leans toward more ‘real’ photography and Samantha Erin editis a number of her photos in that strange colored light. While it is artistic in some ways, I feel that Figgie has a better eye for natural light, framing, etc. Either way though, they both have talent and I am sure you will have beautiful photographs.

I voted Samatha Erin. Figgie is definitely good, I think– her style is actually very like that of a photographer I would love to have, except she kind of does the “classic” photojournalism type shots, as ironic as that sounds. The stuff Samantha Erin has up looks really creative in terms of cool angles and composition, and she clearly knows how to catch a unique moment. I don’t really know crap about photography, but that’s my impression!

You girls definitely have some good points. This is why it’s such a hard decision to make.. both ladies are very talented, and I find myself swaying between the 2, lol. One day I like one more, and then vice versa.. *sigh*. Keep those votes coming!
