Chelsea Brown’s photos are much higher quality. The first photographers shots are a little bit dull and lifeless, and even my amateur eyes can tell that the lighting isn’t always the best. Chelsea’s look vibrant and happy. You will also benefit from having a second photographer around. I used to have a friend who was a wedding photog and he talked about how hard it was to capture certain moments with just one person. For example, one photog cannot get a good shot of both you and your FH saying your vows because he can’t be on both sides at the same time. You don’t want someone moving around a lot because it will be distracting. I say go with #2.

I think that it is wortth the extra $1K, Chelsea’s photos look for professional and a second photographer would be helpful too

I am a n00b when it comes to this stuff, but I honestly can’t tell that big of a difference between the two.  So, I would go with the one that has the better price in this instance.

I’m a solo photographer and I’ve never had a couple have an issue in over 300+ weddings. Tha being said, if I had to pick one I’d pick #2. #1 has lighting issues, exposure issues, her editing and processing is all over the place, posing is awkward, bad composition. Just not great.

The second photographer is a lot better than the first.

Agreeing with everyone else… the first photographer is awful.  Her photos are all over the place.  Different editing styles – and some with no style at all.  Ugly colors, stuff that looks too dark or unedited, and several blurry photos – that is the biggest no ever!  You don’t want your wedding photos to be blurry.

Of course Fiance prefers the cheaper option!  They almost always do LOL.  But if there is any area that you don’t want to go budget on, it’s photography.  After the day is over and the food and drink are consumed, the flowers have died, and your dress is in storage… your photos are the ONLY way that you will have to share your wedding with people and have your tangible memories of the day.  Good photography is SO important.  An experienced, talented photographer will make your day go smoothly and give you photos that capture the candid, happy memories of the day – professionally.  You want this.

If you have the money, this is where you spend it.  I promise.

Chelsea Brown looks so much cleaner, sharper and more alive. Pure Amore looked over edited with too many effects going on.

#2. I looked at #1 and went “meh”. Some bad use of flash, some blurry photos in there, and then inconsistent editing styles.

    Chelsea Brown, hands down…no question.

#1 is amature at best. They have major issues with composition, focus, lighting, and editing. This is a GREAT example what a $1000 increase in your photography budget can get you. It’s the difference between a $1500 photographer and a $2500 photographer. That being said, I don’t know their pricing,  but my guesimate based off knowing the difference in what it’ll cost you ($1000 difference) and the low quality of option #1, that’s about where I’d peg their pricing.

Number one is bad, bad bad. Go with the second one.

As a pro myself, I’d go with Chelsea.  The Pure has too many blown out pictures and too much contrast from her galleries on her site and not very good use of her natural light compared to Chelsea, who seems to have more experience with Weddings also.  Chelsea’s post processing is SO much better, and none, barely any, of her pictures are blown~!
