Just wondering if there might be a general consensus on which plate you’d rather have for this type of dinner.. I honestly have no clue! I might prefer the sectioned plate, but that might not be the best option since we will have a lot more than 2 sides?

Sectioned. I don’t like my hot food to touch my cold food!

I vote sectioned as well.

Sectioned! I hate my food touching, especially if the “sauces” start running together

I vote sectioned as well, I hate when the dressing or “juice” from stuff gets into other things, or gets on rolls and makes them soggy!

Sectioned all the way!!! Noone wants a roll soggy from the baked beans!!!

Hey you! 🙂
I would definitely go with the sectioned! I agree with Ejs4y8 I don’t like my cold food touching my hot food. I’ve been searching all over for cheap eco-friendly disposable plates. Are these pretty reasonable? I fell in love with the Verterra plates but they were out of my price range 🙁 (-Lindsey)

I hate my food touching too, but if its sectioned there might not be enough sections! I would pick the biggest plate so I could nicely space my foods apart form each other!

I don’t like the sections because then I can’t fit enough food on my plate, but that might help with food consumption then. I def take less on a sectioned plate.

I vote sectioned…even if you have more than two sides, the other plates just put everything together…at least with a sectioned plate you can have some seperation

Nothing worse than juices destroying your bun. Sectioned!
People can always go back for seconds… and they will! 😉 Sounds yummy!

Thank you for the comments! You all make a good point with the mixture of foods.. I don’t like it either.
@Linds.. Hey! Hope all is well in the planning 🙂
Yes, they are super cheap (and GREEN!) and you can order samples. I am gonna do that sometime in the next couple of months.
The sectioned ones are $7.75 for 50.. not sure about shipping

I figure we can also put some small, 6″ plates out there too, for people that just wanna go back for one or two things. (50 plates for $2.75!)
@troubled… Yes, yes. such a good point! I always tend to eat a lot less w/ sectioned plates as well. Thanks for the reminder, since we are self-catering that would be a definite plus.

9″ oval bc the edges give you somewhere to put your roll.
