If you choose the first one will there be vegetarian options on the menu?? I think since your entire family is vegetarian there should be a decent amount of options for your side to eat.

The dance floor isn’t fancy, but I honestly don’t think people would critique it. They’ll be dancing and having fun. On a beach!!

If there will be a good number of vegetarian options then I would go for #1. Thats a lot of extra money to pay for #2. It would annoy me as well since its all inclusive.

If I were in your position and neither were budget breakers, I’d still go with the first cheaper option… My reasoning would be first and foremost that I find it ridiculous to pay per-plate at an all-inclusive (my hotel was trying to get us to do this as well). Second reason would be that it seems to be literally steps away from the sand, and I’d prefer sand over a real floor. The dance floor isn’t too bad, and I’d just make do without it and dance on the sand with some torches or hanging lights to accent the area.

It depends on what look/theme your going for as well, the first choice seems a little more relaxed & laid back while the last one seems much more formal….

IMO the 2 dont compare and if u can fit it into your budget I would go with #2

I love option 1 because it workwe for the budget, it’s nice and I LOVE the dance floor on the beach. I wouldn’t even notice the dance floor, it would be amazing to dance on the beach with the stars above and the palm trees. I’m a no frills kinda gal, so these details don’t bother me much. As long as there are Vegetarian options for your family option 1 works well.

The second one is definitely prettier. What are the bad weather options for each space though?

The steakhouse terrace looks like a fun party to me. I wouldn’t care about the plywood dance floor because I think it looks super fun, and a great dancing atmosphere. However, option #2 is definitely nicer if you can afford it. I think you have to figure out your priorities and then choose accordingly.

@Lily_of_the_valley:  the dance floor really lets people know that there is a designated place to dance. Sand also isn’t the easiest thing to dance in. I understand you dont like the dance floor, maybe you could rent one from another reception hall or party rental company? Cabo is very popular for weddings, I’m sure there are wedding planners down there who could help, or just call your reception place and ask if there are any companies they would recommend. Good luck!
