Number 1, still and by far. It seems to make the center diamond stand out the most without being plain. The halo from James Allen looks ok, but it kinda seems almost ‘blobby’…nothing is particularly well defined.

sarahshap :  I really like the second one in your first post (petite diamond engagement ring). Somehow that setting makes the stone look bigger to my eye, even though the center stone is the same size as the first one.

If you’re loving #1 then go with #1 though. It’s the ring you’ll wear for the rest of your life. That halo in your second post is pretty too!
