Ah love MakeupByTiffanyD! Personally I love the last one, but my engagement ring is a round cut solitaire, so I may be sightly bias ๐Ÿ™‚ My diamond is definitly smaller, though! The first ring would be my second choice.

Number one is gorgeous. I would go with that one for sure.

#1 is gorgeous, classic but the cushion gives it the perfect amount of visual interest imo. And the plain band means you can do whatever you like for a wedding band.

But if you’re not sure about a cushion then maybe something like a round with a very dainty cushion halo (I’m not generally a halo person but this is an exception for me) would also be gorgeous.

Definitely #1.  Big main stone to attract the eye.  I like halos but not when it’s surrounded by super-thick wedding bands.. also those other ones look darker/dirty?

I would also like ring #1 with thinner wedding bands.  Like this (these are some I’ve saved from Pinterest):

I prefer either the first one or the last one. (I do love halos and some stacks but the other rings listed just looked too busy for my tastes.)

kaitlynmichelle:  Cushion cuts aren’t more expensive, where did you get that from?

My 1.01ct cushion was $3250, an ideal cut round 1.01 in same color/ lower clarity is $6120. Now, the 1.01 ct round looks larger, by .5 mm, but cushions are almost always cheaper even if you account for the size difference.

I like one.  I am a cushion fan.
