As someone who is always changing nitrile gloves at work, you will find that ALL of those styles are going to be much too high on your hand for work, esp. that first one. They’ll def snag and I’d be always worried about losing a stone. Another thing to consider: what kind of wedding band are you going to want? Other Bees often post about what goes best with a split shank.
As other PPs have mentioned, go try stuff on. I went with my bestie to get an idea of what size and style I liked. Pictures are one thing but they look different on everyone.
I showed my Fiance my dream ring in person after looking at tons online. As littlemogwai said, you might find that you like something different once you’ve gone in person. My Fiance also had ideas of what he liked from seeing other women’s rings and actually wanted to be involved not just have me tell him “this ring or nothing. ” I wanted the surprise of the getting the ring without knowing for sure what he got. He ended getting a way better quality than what we looked at but exactly what I wanted. Im in love with it when I see it every day! Good luck. I hope you have some engagement news soon!🙂
I like #2 but if you are obsessed w #1 then go for it.
I think the oval opal was very flattering on your finger. I would look for an oval with a halo instead of the rings you posted.
So I went and tried some on today, didn’t see anything like #1 but I tried on the Vera wang styles and figured out I absolutely LOVE the round center with squared halo, like number 2! Goes to show you really do have to try them on. Put on an oval that would be within our price point and wasn’t much a fan. Thanks for the advice everyone!!!
I think the more rings you show your boyfriend, the better. I knew I liked the antique/vintage look, but it took us a long time to settle on something because he wanted to feel like he picked it. Maybe your SO will feel the same? So, what I did was showed him three rings I loved and asked him to pick between them.
why not just show your top faves, and let him pick?
aside from that, I vote #2
