I am trying to decide if I should do the same robes for the bridesmaids in wedding colors or get each one a robe in their favorite color. I want them to like what they get but these are also going to be photographed and I don’t know if the different colors blend well together.

@MelBan: Tricky question. Both combos would work well.
Depends on your syle of wedding.
Is it country/rustic? = top 4
I love the bright colours, but only because it would suite my wedding hehehe

I prefer bridesmaids in the same colour, I just think it photographs better. And I prefer that duck egg blue out of all of the options anyway!

@MelBan: I would do the same robes for all the bridesmaids. Id be worried someone would like another BMs robe more and be jealous!

@MelBan: I chose everyone in their favorite color.

@MelBan: I just ordered these! I got all different colors but I will tell you one of the colors I bought was the gray and it is sooo beautiful in person! definitely a lovely look. Either color scheme you pick I garantee you will be pleased with the product.

I think the mismatched would photograph really well, but at the same time I don’t know if I would go by everyone’s favourite colour. My favourite colour is pink, but my favourite out of all the robes is the purple. Maybe you could see which robe everyone prefers if you aren’t trying to surprise them? I think the pops of colour would look really nice and cheerful in your getting ready shots (:

@Lara_Ashley: Thanks for the info! Did you find that the sizes ran true to what they say?

Everyone is different, therefore I think they would better appreciate different colors. It’s more personalized that way.

I went for the first choice just so because it’s a wedding and the robes are meant to be souvenirs/bridesmaids gift – I think that way it reminds more of the robes as gifts from the wedding. 🙂
