@JMM13:  How long does it need to hold up for? I’m guessing most of them won’t wear the tank tops again after your wedding (at least I probably wouldn’t).

I would iron on. You’d be surprised at how well it works and how long it lasts.

If you think they would wear it again than I would go for the ones that are already made Smile I just know that my BMs would probably never wear them again so I wouldn’t want to spend too much on them. I guess if you are planning on wearing them for getting ready pictures you’ll probably want them to look nice as well.

@JMM13:  I think you should make them yourself that way they will feel even more special.

You will find that they will only wear them on the day anyway so it would be pointless spending too much.

@JMM13:  Is it possible to do one test one so that you can see how it looks? That way if it doesn’t go well you haven’t wasted too much money.

I’ve done a ton of iron ons- my advice is to make one to start and if you’re ok with how it turns out then make the rest. But they do work well!

IMO, anything that says “bridesmaid” or whatever is only a photo prop that won’t be worn after the wedding day, so I wouldn’t invest a ton of money into it!

    I made my own bridesmaid/maid of honor/bride  t-shirts

    1. Old Navy T-shirts (they offer shirts from x-small to x-large) 6 dollars each

    2. iron on appliques purchased via Amazon.com 4 dollars each

    Much cheaper way to go…..
