I would do the second one, but add a line that says, “X seats have been reserved in your honor.”

I also recommend the line that says # of seats reserved in your honor. I didn’t do this and I really wish I did. Some people added guests, and some people wrote just their name and then 1 guest attending when they really meant themselves plus one. It got confusing!

Maybe you could do:

___ of 3 accept with pleasure (or whatever number)

___ decline with regret

You could alsio use “Wouldn’t miss it” and “Will celebrate from afar”
