@Bichon Frise: FH and I chose the 3rd St. Lucia Sandals option – Halcyon Beach!  It seemed the quietest and least likely to have to fight for a pool chair!  Plus we can go visit the other 2 resorts and go to any restaurants.  It definitely seems to be the “quaintest” of the 3, but that one was perfect for us.  La Toc was the golf resort which didn’t interest us, and our travel agent said that Grande was very ‘busy’ and I guess more lively.

However if your FH wants a super nice room with the swim up, they don’t have those at Halcyon I believe – they do have the Romeo and Juliet room with a butler though.  We’re staying in the room type just below it – Oceanfront with concierge.

I did a lot of research on Sandals in St. Lucia, PM me of if you want more info.  Can’t give you real-life experience yet though 🙁

I just posted on about this in the topic below.  I thought Halcyon’s pool was really small and the crowd tended to be a bit older than La Toc’s.  We stayed at the grand and LOVED it.  I also did a ton of research and used Jennifer at VIp Vacations (pm me if you need her contact info) and she had by far the best prices!

St. Lucia is a gorgeous destination for a honeymoon.  We were just there a couple of weeks ago.  There are more resorts than Sandals on that island, so you might find one to be a better fit — especially after reading your fiance’s wish list.  Check out The BodyHoliday (a spa treatment is included every day!), Anse Chastenet, Jade Mountain, etc.
