my brain is melted trying to decide which sash would go best with my dress and would appreciate your feedback!
Sash 1 is my favourite. Unfortunately it is only 11 inches long. I want it to go all the way around my waist as far as the low backline & would have to sew it directly onto the dress. The designer will not custom make it to my length, so I had an idea – would it work if I got 2 of the sash & placed them end to end? Would it look right??? Or would it look wonky?
The second sash is my second preferece, it’s the correct length so no messing around would be required. It is also a slightly cheaper option than buying 2 of the other.
Have attached some pictures. Dress is too big as alterations haven’t been done yet, so pls. ignore the fit of the dress.
Also, I cannot return the sashes if they are not right so want to be really sure they wil work before buying!
What do you think??

They’re so similar that I think you shuold just go with the second.

I think two of the first sash might look a little odd, especially since it appears to have a centered design

I agree with Beckster329, because they are very similar, I’d all so go with the second one.

ok, thank you – good to hear your thoughts! keep ’em coming!

Sash 2 the first one will look a little off.

I can see why you like sash #1 best. It’s lovely and unique and special.
But, your dress is symetrical and I think having an asymeterical sash might look odd, like it’s off-center. I’d go with sash #2 since it’s so similar to your top choice, but it has a cleaner, more classic look and has a defined mid-point. Good luck!!

thank you all.
i was kinda worried alright that the 1st sash might look a bit lop-sided or something if it were to be placed end to end. just couldn’t picture it exactly. disappointing though as i love it ;-( i do like the second one too though… oh well. can’t send them back if they’re not right so really wanted to be sure. spending on accessories is really starting to mount up
