I prefer the top set on your hand. I think the bottom set overpowers your finger.
I agree, i like the solitaire set better. Just seems more suited to your hand in my opinion. You should get what you love though.
Solitaire for sure!
Of the two choices you have posted, I would choose the solitaire.Having said that, if you would prefer to have the three stone, get the three stone.
I, personally, like the look of three stone rings with a five stone band, so that is what I might suggest. Here are a few examples I found online.
This one looks like a 7 stone band and still has great proportions and looks gorgeous IMO:
What I see all the examples I gave as having in common is: 1) the center stones of the three stone rings are a bit larger in proportion than the flanking stones as compared to the one you’re considering and 2) the three stone rings are balanced out by the bands, which are less subdued than what you were looking at. Of course, this is just my personal opinion and it’s not something anyone else has to follow.
I agree with PPs that the top set looks better on your finger. The bottom one also looks a bit dated to me.
The top set looks stunning!
I was engaged once before and I was given a three stone like this one so perhaps going with something completely different would make sense. =)
Those voting “neither” I’m curious to see examples of a solitare set you think is of good taste. =)
I love the solitaire one
