which setting do you like better

    #2 looks very cheap. The peg head style is one of my least favourites. 

    #1 looks much more elegant, the way the head/gallery is encoprorated into the shank.

    6-prong is a more secure setting. It might let in less light (so less sparkle), but with a moissanite, you should be fine.

    I definitely prefer the one metal colour, too. My vote is also for the first but, ultimately, it’s your ring and you know what you like 🙂

    The first one. I like claw prongs, but I’m not a fan of them on round solitaires. I don’t like the way they wrap around and cover the crown of the stone.

    motherbee33 :  I went with nearly invisible claws, 6-prong, because I didn’t like the way the button prongs were accentuated. You can barely see them on my setting, I think.

    That said, I agree with the other bees who think the second option looks cheaper than the first. The first is far more classic and appealing.
