I got my dress at a sample sale for $299 yay (originally over 2,000) and so there were some alterations I needed/wanted. I decided to get it altered now, just in case I don’t like it, there will be lots of time to change it. And mainly so I knew what it was going to look like.
Here’s the dress:
I’m having an intimate wedding in Paris, and my colours will be pink (blush) and gold. Now my dress is currently at the alterations place, she’s making the neck into a sweetheart neck line, lowering the back/adding buttons, and taking it in. October 30th I’m going in and she’s going to hem the bottom so she wants me to have the shoes..
Here are the two I’m torn between:
Kate Spade Charm heels in gold
Which do you prefer??

Omg I love your dress!! What a steal. I also love the pink shoes by badgley mischkas .

@sillygoat: I love both shoes but like how the Kate Spade’s contrast more with the dress; I’m not sure about ruffly shoes with a ruffly dress.

You should make this a poll. I love both shoes but the second one mirror the details on your dress which btw looks amazing on you

You should make this a poll.
Anyway, I personally prefer the Kate Spade shoes for you with your dress. Yes, the pink ones match almost perfectly, but the sparkly ones add a bit of quirk and zing. You look like the type of gal who can appreciate that.

@sillygoat: Looking at you, the dress and trying to get a sense of what you will do I say the Kate Spade shoes. They just seem to fit more.
Both are great though.

The glittery ones; I think that the ruffles with the ruffles would be too much. The glittery ones are also AWE.SOME. 🙂 Good luck with your decision.

I love your dress. You look amazing in it. I like the Badgley Mischkas shoes way better!

OMG the sparkley pair. Please, oh please wear the sparkley ones!! They are fabulous!! And seriously, so wearable after the wedding. Even with a pair of boyfriend jeans they would be so, so amazing.

AH!!! I totally meant to make a poll!!!! Please vote! haha 🙂
Thanks ladies, I’m so torn.. I love them both. And thanks for the dress compliments. I’m super happy I found it and got such a great deal on it!

I think the Kate Spade ones are a little bit tacky. It’s fun to wear stuff like that sometimes, and they’d be awesome to rock with jeans or a skirt/dress on a night out. I just don’t think they’re elegant enough for a Paris wedding.

I like the pink better as a shoe… but I agree that the sparkly ones have better contrast with the texture of your dress!
