I’m not loving either of these options.  What about some sort of closed toe wedge?  Or just let your maids pick their own shoes?

Hi!  I agree with MrsRomo… I don’t love any of the options:  Boots could be TOO much seen and most of all, they are not confy to go all day long! Remember that they will have a lot to do that day for you and at least they should be able to wear confortable shoes as much as possible..

If you still want them to keep tall and slender, maybe the wedges are an option.  Here are several open wedges examples…

… but if the place is really a barn, maybe you still allow them to wear closed options…

But if this is really, really a barn, maybe wearing confy flats could be better for them:

I hope you may like some of the ideas… and it could be of help!

I’d go with the boots, as anything pretty and delicate such ad lace will get grubby and wrecked.

Please no boots! I like that flat peep toe idea. The girls will suffer in high heels! But get ones without a pattern or only  a relly decent one.

This dress colour is very similar to my bridesmaids shoes. Silver seems to go very well. I would go with a silver wedge if they can’t wear heels.

I know the dresses are knee-length so their shoes will be visible, but, please let them pick their own shoes. They are grown women (I assume). I was in a wedding last year and the bride picked our shoes and they were hideous and uncomfortable and we all complained the entire time.
