Here is my reception dress and I can’t wait to wear it! The dress was love at first sight…the shoes on the other hand, is a very difficult decision! Please help! 🙂
I recently realized that I’m not as comfortable wearing pumps as slingback sandals, so here they are:
1. I love the lace, but I’m not sure about the lack of bling?
2. Ivory/rose – I would add a small blingy shoe clip…maybe?
3. These are just a totally out of the box shoe, and I love them, but I’m not sure if the world (or my wedding guests) is ready for this look?
4. Or I could play it very safe with these.
5. I know for a fact that these are comfortable, but I’m not sure I love the look. The flower is removable and can always be replaced with a rhinestone shoe clip.

I love the first pair, they’re very cute and unique, and look great with that dress.

The first ones are my favorite but the 4th ones are cute as well. I think the first are more re-wearable, just because they look unique and less weddingy.

Your reception dress is beautiful! I prefer a look similar to the one in the photo, simple slingbacks that don’t compete with the detail of you dress. I vote #4.

I think all of them would look fabulous except #3, which I don’t think match the dress (although they’re cute).

I love the first ones. How tall are you? I know I have short legs and I could never wear the middle ones with a short dress, since the high ankle would make my legs look even shorter. So I think that’s one thing to consider if you are thinking about them – they’re certainly pretty cool looking.

Your reception dress–wow! Congratulations–it actually still looks wedding-ish and not prommy or summer sundress, like so many short dresses I’ve been seeing. Seriously gorgeous. i voted for 4, though 1 is a close second. In my opinion, the others don’t really match the style of your dress.

I also love your reception dress!!!
I chose #4 to go with your dress because they are classic and won’t take away from your dress.

I think 3 will be the most comfortable, but if they’re ivory then the shade isn’t right for the dress… otherwise I think 4 is the cutest.

I like the second one best. The lace-ups are my least favorite of them all

The dress is so beautiful I must say! I like the lace and pearl shoes and #4 as well which as you said are a safe choice 🙂

Just wanted to say that your dress is amazing!

I know #4 may be the “safe” traditional option, but I do think it matches your dress better than any of the others.
If you want to go less traditional, you could always pull out the colored shoe option :-). I think your dress has enough detail that you don’t want too much going on with your shoes.

im the only one that picked 3 🙁
