I’m going to try to narrow this down to four. I want blue strappy sandals. They have to be pretty tall because I am freaking short. They have to have straps because otherwise they’ll fall off. It is SO HARD to find shoes!!!
Option one:
Pelle Moda ‘Flirty’ Sandal at about $150:

Option two:
Jessica Simpson for about $100:

(Are these formal enough for a wedding? I like that they’re sturdy looking…)
Also, does it matter what color my bridesmaids’ dresses are when I choose a shoe?

Forgot to vote in the last part: No, they do not have to match of go with the Bridesmaid or Best Man shoes!

Any other opinions? What about these ones?

I like the Jessica Simpsons a LOT. I think they’d be a gorgeous statement peeking out from under your dress, especially if your wedding has a fun, modern theme.

I also forgot to vote in the last part but I agree….they do NOT have to match bridesmaids’ dresses. Mine sure won’t!

@village_skeptic: I love them…and I think they look sturdy enough for my fat legs, lol. What do you think about the gold ones? Or these ones?

I like the ones in the third post. The way the strap comes up around your ankle looks like they would be supportive. More importantly they are beautiful.

Do you have a picture of your dress? I’m sorry, I searched and couldn’t seem to find one.
Just on sheer impression of the shoes alone, I still like the Jessica Simpsons, or maybe the fun fluffy blue ones. I can never pull off the center straps like that, though, so that may be biasing my opinion. Again, I’d need to see your dress, but gold lame heels feel a bit Jersey Shore to me (your mileage may vary). I just love the color contrast on the Jessica Simpsons. 🙂
