What type of reception are you having? Because if its something formal I dont think the dress should be any shorter. I think the really high heels paired with the really short skirt will just be too much

Way to be foxy! You’re young, hot and i think you could pull off another inch or two shorter. I say go for it!

I would try the petticoat before you get it hemmed. That might make it look shorter. Its very cute though! I actually like it the way it is.

I like it, maybe just add some bracelets, rings and earrings that match your shoes and it’ll be super cute. I also would shorten it too, but I also like my clothes to be fitted, tight and short (not hoochy short…lol)

I like the petticoat idea but I’d try it with one before hemming. The petticoat will shorten it.

I think you need to have the bodice taken in a bit because it is a bit too big on you.  Also, if there is any way to sew in cups or something to give you some support that would be good as it would improve the overall look of your shape in the dress.

@mrsbruff2b:  You would be surprised how easy it is to take something in just along the seams. I’m much smaller on top than on bottom so with most dresses I have to do this.  It’s usually pretty easy for any professional seamstress.

I don’t think it looks bad as is.  I just think it will make you looks slimmer if it’s more fitted.

@mrsbruff2b:  the waist and were the seams at the sides are.  Like under your arms.
