    Just an FYI, if you do go with dress 4 (and is there any way you could get to a salon that has a better-fitting sample for you to try on?  I think it might be great in a better-fitting version) I’ve seen several used ones for sale.  And short dresses are great to buy used, I think, since there’s no issue of a dirty hem and lots of people don’t alter the length at all.

    Men a very visual and he will see you in a totally different way at your wedding.  My FH hated the dress I really wanted until I actually took him to see the dress on me (we aren’t superstitous).  The second I walked out of the dressing room I could see it in his face that my dress was “the” dress.  He loved it in person.

    I am similar to you in the fact that I go to the FH for what he likes to see on my, but it is him that I am really dressing for.  Plus, he really tells me when things are unflattering.  I would go with the one that you really love, it is the glowing bride that he will be really be seeing.

    @Entangled:

    I voted for 2 because I like its skirt and top out of all of them, and I think it suits you better too, it’s young, light, fun and sweet but at the same time bridal.

    Good luck making a choice πŸ™‚

    Dress 2 is the perfect cut for you. It really accents your figure and I love how it just flows over you. I’m not dissing the other dresses at all, as they are all beautiful, but, the second one looks very flattering IMO.

    So I’ve been thinking about this. Are you getting married in Carmel? Can you take a couple more photos of #2 for us? I”m thinking that you might need the bust to be altered to make tighter and/or just a form to give your chest more definition.  #2 is by far heads and shoulders better than the other styles. Are you wearing slingback heels? Doing a vintage look? What’s your theme? A new Priscilla of Boston just opened up right by where I work and I was hoping they’d put this dress in the window. I think the halter style is really flattering on your neck as is the flutter skirt.

    Look for skirts w/overlays as well as halter tops. Skip pencil skirts and strapless. You’ve got a tiny figure and accentuating your waist is going to give you a curvy line. The strapless short dresses make you look thin but the line is too straight up and down.

    It would be interesting to see what you look like with a gown that is short in the front and long in the back. For neckline, try halter, sweetheart, and deep v sleeveless.

    And you do look really young. Trust me, I’m way older than 28 and you look like a young 28. Lastly, stop showing him the dress. You are taking away your wow factor. Ask any woman if she needed to show her guy the dress before the wedding and I’d bet you she’d say no. There’s no surprise if he sees the gift unwrapped πŸ™‚

    I’m surprised everyone likes #2. I like #1 the most. #2 is really pretty too but it’s not as fancy. I think it really depends on your style. #1 is my style, so maybe that’s why I like it πŸ™‚

    OK I changed my choice after seeing the latests pics you posted lol. #2 looks way better with the added belt. Totally gives it what it was lacking.
