I’m trying to reset my yellow-orange sapphire and I’m curious to hear opinions on what looks best together. I gave the final decision to be up to my husband, as I have picked out like every piece of jewelry I own, so I’d like this to have some sentimental value to it by being something we made together.
But personally I am lost as to what looks best. (They would be set like the pic on the right.)

I like the sapphires. They make your stone pop more.

I like the rubies because it makes make think of a sunset

antoniathegreat : Well … I’m no help. Because I like them both. I think the blue sapphires are stunning with your yellow sapphire (which is gorgeous, by the way! *.*). They make the center stone pop in a beautiful way.
But I like how the rubies “blend” with the center stone to create a warm and gorgeous color story. And I also like the rubies, because I think they are a little more unusual/unexpected in this type of setting.
No matter what your husband picks, it is going to be gorgeous!

Rubies for me. Looks gorgeous together!! But i might have a tiny bias because the sapphires make me think of the Gainesville gators lmao.

I like the warmth of the rubies. And it would match my wardrobe better

Although I’m not a fan of either of the options, I like sapphires more.

I like the sapphires, I like the more dramatic contrast of the colours

Both are beautiful, I prefer the rubies (I have ruby sidestones in my engagement ring/wedding band) but the contrast with the sapphires is super beautiful too!

antoniathegreat : I like the rubies better as the sapphires seem to contrast too much

If it were my ring, I’d go with the rubies!

Sapphires! Complementry colors!

I love the color of your sapphire, and I LOVE rubies, so rubies get my vote!
