Soooo this is my dress. Which slip should I pick. I like the wow factor the bigger one has, but does it make look too fat? like a cupcake? too poofy? Does the smaller one have less wow. If I go with the fuller slip I don’t have to get the dress hemmed. If I go smaller it will be 300 for a hem. Sooo I’m pretty sure I’m going to go with the fuller slip unless everyone says smaller.
So here is with the ballgown slip!
And now here is with the not as full slip
Sooooooo What do you think and why?

I personally like the second not so puffy one. It flows nicely with the bodice. Too big makes your upper body extremely tiny and like youre just swallowed up by the skirt hehe
Beautiful dress by the way!!

No offense but that skirt is huge with a slip. If it doesn’t bother you then i would rock it. Otherwise, ditch the slip and hem

I think the smaller slip looks much more balanced.

If you’re reading the comments and voting. I would appreciate an explaination of why you voted the way you did so I can have some perspective when making my decision. I’m having a really hard time deciding and I just want to look perfect on that day and I want the dress to look the best it can. Thanks! 🙂

Are you wearing that tiara on your wedding day? If so, I think the big slip totally works. But the smaller slip looks beautiful as well – like the others have said, more balanced, but it’s not as “wow.” It could go either way, and I think it’s just up to what kind of bride you want to be (visually). I voted for the big slip though.
Which one do you feel more comfortable in? Which one is better to sit in? To walk in? To dance in? These are important factors. 🙂

@gangqinjia: I am wearing that tirara 🙂

I honestly don’t think either can go wrong. The dress is beautiful in both slips. It just boils down to what YOU feel more comfortable in. If you’re going for the princess look than by all means go with the big puffy slip!
You’ll be beautiful with the big slip, the little slip, no slip, wouldn’t matter! 🙂

Definitely the second one. It’s big, but not huge.
Agreed that you can’t go wrong either way, though!

I say the 1st one. I like the second one slightly better but not really $300 better. And I really don’t see a huge difference between picture 2 (first slip) and the last picture.

I actually do like the 2nd one more, I find it to look much softer. BUT that being said, I wouldn’t spend the extra $300, and to be honest, if you just showed me the first three pictures, I’d tell you it looks perfect!

I think you have to consider everyone elses preference on dresses when people are voting. Personally, I love the look of the first pictures, I love the princess ballgown look and I think you look beautiful in it. The last picture looks very similar but doesnt make the same statement. I wouldnt spend 300 to change it though, the dress and you are beautiful in both pictures, its just a matter of preference and everyones going to feel differently!

Either look fine to me, but I will say I had a pretty full skirt and it was kind of annoying to wear all day. Yeah it looks pretty in pictures, but I ended up ditching the crinoline after dinner because it was so hot and hard to move around in a packed room with.

I think both ways look good. In no way whatsoever do either of them look bad to me. You look beautiful! If it was me, I’d go with the first option and save $300.
