HI LADIES………THIS IS A CALL FOR HELP ALL THE WAY FROM THE NETHERLANDS!
The thing is I’m torn between the 2 following stunning dresses:
#1 Sottero Midgley ADORAE
#2 Sottero Midgley LINLEY
And this is me: (pls don’t be scared……..)
As you can see, I’m petit AND short. So it’s hard to find a dress, which flatters me! I have tried on the LINLEY, which looked lovely!
But not the ADORAE since the stockists in my country do not have this particular dress as a sample! However, this dress keeps hauting me…………….
So please do let me know what you think………….
LET’S VOTE LADIES !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really like the Adorae and think it should work for your petite frame since it has a similar structure to the Linley. The only concern might be the bubble hem, unless they can create a custom length for you.

I personally love the Adorae but think either dress will look amazing.

It’s tough not seeing these dresses on you.
First off, you have a really cute figure and a tiny waist and I’m sure either of these dresses would look great on you!
I voted for the second one because you say you are petite. The style of the adorae makes a lot of people look like they have short legs. I feel like tall people pull off that style of dress best.

I like both, but I think Adorae would look amazing on you! 🙂

you are FAST in US THANX!!!
I’m gonna try on more ‘mermaid style’ dresses next week. Just to be sure that the style will look good on me…I just LOVE the ADORAE mainly because it’s not so traditional as the LINLEY. Linley is more a ‘safe dress’, and Adorae is more WOW-factor……….I think
Anyway, I really appreciate all your comments/suggestions!

I have the Billie dress and the Adorae is sparkly like my dress. Its beautiful which ever dress you pick.

ADORAE!!! So gorgeous! It’s definitely a sexy dress and you’ll look great in it!

Hi, just like you, as soon as I sa that gown I immediately fell in love with it and thought it was definately my gown. I am 5’3 and weigh 97 lbs. I finally tried it on and it looked horrid on me. I would suggest calling boutiques around that carry sottero and midgley you can find them on the sites store locator. If they do not ask about trunk shows. It is quite surprising how different a gown looks on. I think that gown is definately for a more taller bride. But hopefully I am wrong and you will look amazing in it because I truly think that is a gorgeous gown!

Thanx so much for all your comments and helping me decide. I will try on similar dresses like ADORAE next week and make my final decission…I know it’s scary buying your wedding dress without seeing it, but I’ll take my chances this time. Worst case I have to sell it and order the Linley any how. Luckily my wedding is June 2011, so pleanty of time to make mistakes
And if anyone bought this dress or got married in it, please show us the pics!

I absolutely love Adorae, and think it would look absolutely beautiful on you! That’s the only dress that makes me second guess my Maggie dress choice. I don’t think you can go wrong with that one

I like the adorae a lot better. If the hem isn’t flattering, and you have to shorten the skirt anyway, why not just change the hem? Love the top!

Definitely ADORAE! The other one I’m afraid will make you look even more slender than you are (and in your case it’s not a good thing!).

I tried on Adorea for the shape and the “wow” factor… I looked like I was covered in whipped cream topping, which I didn’t like. It was way too much… for me at least. So, I’d choose #2.
Sorry I don’t have a pic… I didn’t even leave the changing room.

Cannotwait, that’s a GREAT idea. In case the balloon hem makes me like a tiny balloon or whipped cream topping, I’ll just change/loose the hem and make it look like an A-line fitted gown! EXCELLENT idea!!!!
I’m sure my seamstress will be able to do that!
