    @caroline5:  forever 21 is cheap, but they have some nice things that look ‘older’. Also, H&M, limited, and express. I love little boutique stores too.

    The Limited is my go-to for professional clothing.

    Old Navy is my #1 for pretty much everything else, with a few items from department stores, Target, and F21 sprinkled in as I go. But the ‘Navy is perfect for jeans, tees, tanks. I’m also a jeans and t-shirt kind of girl, though.

    I go to Kohl’s, but it’s such a hit-or-miss kind of place. I also like Old Navy, H&M, JCP, and sales at Gap & Express. My Favs for dressier clothes are NY&C and Charlotte Russe.

    These are my favorite stores:

    Professional Clothing: Nordstrom Rack, Nordstrom, H&M, The Limited, Banana Republic, Zara, and J. Crew;

    Casual Clothing: Target, CottonOn, and stores above;

    Dresses: Asos, White House/Black Market, and above.

    If you’re looking for basics, A-line black dress, white/black.nude camisoles (can go under everything), boyfriend-cut blazer (goes great with jeans and slacks), and dark wash slim jeans for casual Fridays.

    I really like smaller boutiques.  I definitely shop at Target, the Gap, and some of the other chain stores but I prefer the smaller ones.  Not only do you get clothing that is cute but you are also supporting local businesses which is a total win!

      I voted “other”, because I also love Outlet Malls. I’ll go to Banana Republic, Gap, and Ann Taylor Loft outlets, and I’ll usually find some really cute clothes there.

      I used to like Old Navy for my basic crew neck shirts, but they have gotten so thin, I can’t rock those anymore. If anybody has any suggestions for basic crew neck shirts, I am all ears!

    I really like Ann Taylor / Ann Taylor Loft.  I also love Nordstrom / Nordstrom Rack.  I have good luck at Banana Republic outlets but never at the main stores.

    Forever 21, American Eagle (I adore the jeans), Charlotte Russe, Tilly’s and H&M. I am petite as well, so I have the same exact problem…

    I love Express for when I want a more grown up look. On the pricier side, but the clothes fit me well.

    I like a good mix.  For work stuff, mostly Express, LOFT, Banana Republic, Limited, and J. Crew.

    I also love to mix casual stuff from Old Navy, Gap, etc.

    For prof. clothing, you can’t go wrong with J. Crew and Banana Republic.

    For more casual and fun outfits, I like modcloth and Boden.

    J Crew, Madewell, Gap, and Anthro on occasion. Nordstrom’s has the best shoe selection!
