Hi all- I posted this under Accessories, and just looking for a response… maybe I should’ve posted here?
This past wknd, my future husband and I went suit shopping. He purchased two suits and now we are having a terrible time decided which he should wear and how we should accessorize. I also bought two veils this weekend- both traditional veils… the first, shoulder length and double layered with thin ivory edging… the second, single layer, long w/ tiny swavorski crystals (they probably won’t even show in the photos).
Since we are getting married in the fall, I choose fall flowers for the cake, tables, and bouquets. By The Way, we are not having bridesmaids/groomsmen, etc…. just the two of us will walk in together during the ceremony.
Attached are a few photos. My dress (I am changing the ribbon from pink to gold to match the shoes), the two suits he purchased, our cake, and the flowers. I also like the brooch idea to add to the ribbon- what do you think?

hmmm hard decision. Ultimately I think either suit will cordinate well with the other wedding elements. I slightly prefer the color and fabric of the lighter suit but I prefer the style and cut of the darker suit. Is your Fiance very tall? Sometimes I think it’s difficult to pull off a three button suit for men unless they are very tall.

um… he’s about 5’10, maybe 5’11…. that’s an issue too now that I think of it… I’m 5’8, and just realized that I may be taller than him once I put those Kenneth Cole gold heels on, oops!

I think either suit would look great. The top suit reminds me more of the fall than the bottom, so if you are going for a fall look, that might be the one to choose.

I personally like the darker suit. I LOVE your dress and I like the brooch too.

I like light suits, but I think the top darker suit cause it’s more contrasty against yours and makes your dress stand out more!

Thanks so much! I love the dark olive suit. My dress is actually ivory, so he tried on an ivory shirt yesterday with it… Not sure what color tie? The sales guy said if he goes with a gold tie, he needs a white shirt, but I love the ivory shirt with the olive suit. It looked so sleek!
