Plain shank!! It’s unique and lovely. Get a pave band for your wedding ring!

Pave for sure! The plain band looks a little thick (even though I’m guessing the two are the same width.) I absolutely loooove this ring! I’m also a Tacori girl, and maybe I’m biased because mine is a pave setting.

Wow! I see why you are having such a hard time deciding. I love the plain but I love the pave as well! I would probably go with the plain one and then get a blingy wedding band.

AHH super hard decision. but I think I agree with a couple PPs that I’d get the plain shank and then get a pave wedding band

I prefer the pave, but I’m biased since that is what I have. I have trouble liking the transition from plain shank to pave halo.

The one with the pave, definitely.

might be worthwhile adding a poll to this thread 🙂

@growingtomatoesinthegarden: LOVE the paved shank. Then again that’s what I have 🙂 You should definitely add a poll to this thread to make it easier

Plain! I’m bias, this is my ring and I went withplain. Make sure u try on a wedding band with it, that’s what’s help decide for us. I didn’t like the “set” look and the 2639 with pave almost made u hve to get the matching band. I wanted a differentlook and went with plain to have more wedding band options.

I love my ring! U really can’t go wrong with either!

Plain, because 1) it makes the center stone pop and 2) it would make a pave wedding band pop!

Such a gorgeous ring model. I love the plain shank…adds a touch of class. The pave looks good too, but you should look into getting nicer quality diamonds. It’s not necessarily because they are small that they don’t sparkle as much; it has to do with clarity, etc.

Here’s a  pic comparing two rings I was considering. Notice how the top ring has way whiter diamonds!! That’s the one I picked 😉 Also, it’s kind of funny because it’s a mix of pave and plain metal, hehe.

My e-ring is a round halo with a plain platinum band. I thought it would be too much sparkle if the shank had diamonds…my halo is quite large in size. My wedding band adds the sparkle I wanted, without making my set look like «too much» bling going on. I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!

I voted pave, but on second thought, I really like the plain shank!
