Ok so I think I have finally narrowed it down to 2 tote bag options for my Bridesmaid or Best Man gift.
But now I can’t decide which one. Which do you prefer?
This is my favorite option for design, it is a much more sturdy bag and just looks nicer. This is also the more expesive of the two but not by much. The downside…it only comes in 2 colors, white and black. I am really wanting a charcoal tote because I plan to use red thread and I think the red would look better on charcoal. (This picture looks like a dark charcoal but I contacted the seller on Etsy and she said it is a true black in person).
This upside to this one is it does come in charcoal! And it is a few dollars cheaper. But besides that it seems to be a less sturdy option and doesn’t have the nice pocket in front.
As a bridesmaid which would you prefer? As a bride which you would buy? Opinions Wanted!

I think compromising on the color is better than compromising on the quality– I’d pay the little bit extra for the black bags– they look a lot nicer and will likely last longer.

I would rather the black, sturdy one. It just looks nicer. And red looks fine on black, go Northeastern!

I bought the second option (hadn’t seen the first!) but I will say, it’s not bad quality. It probably isn’t as nice as your first option (based on pics!) but mine is still just fine. My BMs still use theirs as most of us work in schools and use it to carry stuff in.

I’d get the first one but they both look like nice bags!

While your bridesmaids are going to use the totes again, unless they’re going to be lugging books around in them for years, the cheaper one is fine. So if the cheaper one is still pretty well made and is the color you want, go for that one. I found totes that were 12 for $12 (not personalized) and they held up just fine. I kept one and have used it for groceries. Unless there’s a clear flaw in the construction, the less expensive one will serve its purpose.

@ProfessorGirl: I totally agree! I bought my BMs monogrammed bags and while I’m sure they’ll use them again, I doubt that they’ll use them HARD. My Maid/Matron of Honor uses hers to tote clothes around in when she’s only staying 1 night somewhere or uses it as a beach bag or something like that.
