we’re having a rustic outdoor wedding on a ranch, I’m having burlap runners, lace wrapped votives and the ikea lanterns and table signs in white…I was originally going to uses the large mason jars for my centrepieces, but my florist has these ( the white compote vases)I can use for free.I love how the match all my other stuff.I’m worried they’ll be too low…should I stick with the mason jars?

They don’t look that much lower than a mason jar. I like the way these white ones look, and if you can use them for free I say do it!

If they match and they’re free I’d go with them! They’re really nice. I don’t think they’ll be too low, I prefer either a low centerpiece or a tall one. If you go with medium height you run the risk of having your guests not being able to see the other people across the table without having to lean over.

I don’t think they are too low, but if you’re afraid of it how about putting it on a stand/box and use some tulle to wrap around the box to cover it? Since you’re getting the centerpiece for free, this wouldn’t cost too much. Add a mirror under it and some votives around it and viola! you have a great centerpiece for cheap!
