Looks like #1 has beads and #2 has crystals on the edge?

#1 is scalloped and I’m not sure if the beads on the edge are the same.  Veils at bridal ships have a huge markup, so if you like veil #1 and the fabric is of a good quality (not stiff), there is no reason to pay more.

I’m not a fan of the scalloped edge of the first one.

I recognize that etsy seller! She makes lovely veils. Go for that one.

It’s hard to say.  If you’re looking to save a bunch of money, definitely go with #1.  I also don’t care for scalloped edges as much, but also recognize this seller.  She can probably make you one with a straight edge with beading!

I don’t care much for the scalloped edges in veil one, but I think you could get something similar with a straight edge on etsy for about the same price!

I’m pretty sure #2 has beading. #1 is what I think is called “embroidered. Looks like it has

    a metallic silver trim.

If you don’t absolutely LOVE veil one, the price has absolutely no bearing. So I guess it depends on:

    A. How much you love it

    B. How important your veil is to you (every bride is different…to me I want something pretty but simple. I’m not willing to splurge)

Funny, I like veil #2 more from far away ’cause it has more sparkle, but from the up-close pics on the etsy site, I like veil #1 – the beading looks more consistent and less sporadic than #2. Go for the $39 one!

I bought my veil on etsy, too! I like both of those veils, but without knowing what your dress looks like, it’s tough.

I got my veil from http://www.etsy.com/shop/simplebeautyveils . It’s beautiful, and also cost $39. She makes every kind of veil under the sun and I can attest for the quality. Good luck!
