That dress is amazing. I wouldn’t cover up the back of the dress with a long veil or your hair down. So I voted hair all up with birdcage veil! 🙂

I think the birdcage would look GORGEOUS with the vintage details on that gown!

i agree with pp, your dress is a stunner.  don’t hide it with long hair and a veil.

hair up with a birdcage veil will totally suit the vintage look of that dress.

Gorgeous dress. I voted hair up but want to see you in a simple traditional veil.

Agree with PP. Showcase the dress by having hair up and birdcage veil.

Hair up with birdcage! Honestly, though, if it were me, I’d go with a fabulous headband. 🙂

Ok I have a lace back similar like that one.  I voted for the drop veil/hair up option.

I originally purchased a birdcage for mine and it just didn’t work.  I switched to an english net veil and it looks much better.  I wouldn’t get a lace trimmed one tho.  Keep it simple.  Veils are sheer, you won’t be covering the back.  .  If you keep your hair down you will, so I say it goes up.   =)

    Hair up, 100%

Long, sheer drop veil for ceremony (no lace).  Something shorter would only distract from the dress.  I don’t understand why people think it would cover up the back of your dress…its sheer….

Funky birdcage or poofy headpiece for reception.

@justjade:  Check out Petite_Fraise’s recap.  She wore a drop veil and looked just perfect.

Although I prefer longer veils….for that dress I would absolutely do hair up with birdcage!
