I really like the fingertip one. I think if you go for the chapel length it will WAY “formalize” your dress and seem a little out of place anywhere except a big church.

I really like both! I don’t think you could go wrong with either one depending on your location. Yet again, I’m getting married outside and I have a chapel length veil. I personally think they look beautiful in garden weddings with the right dress. I don’t think a veil could ever be out of place unless it doesn’t look right with the bride or the dress.

Ive seen a lot of veil/dress/location combos and IMO I don’t think there is a right or wrong. It’s all about how it looks on you and what you want. I know many people don’t like the idea of veils outside because they can blow in the wind but that’s what veil weights are for right?Smile

It’s just not my taste to have the satin edge so I chose the chapel raw edge. I think either would look great though!

@Sunshine09:  LOL!!! I would be just as puzzled as you are. I do like how the satin edge compliments the material of the dress (also satin) but I love how flowy a chapel length veil is (mine is cathedral raw edge). Have U tried on either of these veils with your gown? That may help you decide.

Omg, I love your dress!  I voted for the second but both would be beautiful.

I am a fan of cathedral-length, raw edge veils, so I voted for your chapel-length, raw edge option.

I’m a fan of the long veils but it depends.. how long do you want to wear it? chpel length should be removed after the ceremony where fingertip can stay on all night… what kind of lookd o you want? I find chapel length gives a very elegant line where as fingertip is a bit more spunky. How formal is your wedding? Chapel length is more formal, fingertip a tiny less formal…

I like the second one…I’m not a fan of the satin edge veils

I like the second one, or maybe a blusher veil?
