I’m stuck between three different veils.
Here is my dress for reference:
Veil #1: I’ve always kind of wanted a cathedral length veil, however, my mom thought it would be weird that my veil is longer than my dress (my dress has no train). I’m also worried about how annoying it’s going to be.
Veil #2: I really like the beading but since my dress doesn’t really have any beading will the veil “clash” with it? This one is elbow length.
This one seems to match the best because of the rhinestones on my dress (this one is also elbow length).
Or I could be happy with no veil as well! What veil do you think goes best with my dress?

If you like #2 best, I have almost the exact same one that you can have.
Personally, I like the very first one 🙂

I like plain veils personally; so I’m not a fan of 2 or 3; I also think that the beading on 2 will clash with the sparkle on your dress. However, I agree with your mom in that I think a cathedral length veil will look odd with a dress that doesn’t have a train.
Have you considered a chapel length veil? They’re long (floor-length) but not as long as a cathedral length veil, so, you won’t have a lot of ‘spare’ fabric trailing on the floor. Could be a good compromise?

@sherryberry: Thanks! #2 is certainly pretty but I’m not sure that it would go well with my dress. I’m definitely leaning towards the first one but my mom’s comment threw me off a little.

@barbie86: True- I didn’t think about looking for a chapel length one. Thanks!
ETA: just found a nice chapel length veil!

Oops, I got confused and voted for 2, but meant 1. I love the length!

I picked #3 mostly because of the length. If you could get a elbow length version of #1 that would be my pick.

I disagree with your mom saying that the veil shouldn’t be longer than the dress. It’s all about the look you want! My dress has a train, but my cathedral length veil is longer than the dress still and I love how it looks. I noticed that you posted veils from venus veils (I’m assuming on eBay) though. I actually bought a veil from them and I found the quality of it was terrible. The material they used felt so cheap and stiff, and even after I steamed it, it didn’t fall right. I really tried to convince myself to like it since I had already bought it, but I just couldn’t do it. I ended up buying another one from an Etsy seller and it is 1000x better.

I think fingertip-length is more flattering than elbow-length.
I think either the plain veil or the rhinestone veil would work best with your dress.

I voted #1! It’s gorgeous!
