- Wedding: September 2013
I’ve got quotes back from several venues in New Orleans and we have narrowed it down to three options.
Our wedding is going to be low-key, 50 people, with southern vintage charm.
Which venue do you like the best??
1) Bourbon Orleans Hotel
Ceremony location: The St Ann’s Coutyard – very small and intimate and would accomodate our group of 50.
Reception locaton: The St Ann’s Coutyard + The St Ann’s cottage.
I was thinking that we could do photos and a traditional Louisiana Wedding Parade during the time they need to flip the Coutyard for the reception…
The St Ann’s Cottage Reception Venue – The Dance floor and band sets up outdoors in the coutyard.
An example of a wedding set-up in the coutyard.
2) Le Pavillion Hotel – Versailles Lobby and Ballroom
This is my fiancees favourite. I love the opulence of this venue but it is almost TOO nice…I would also really like an outdoor ceremony…Another con of this venue is that the hotel rooms for my guests start at $500…so we would only be able to have the ceremony/reception here and not actually stay at the hotel.
The lobby/staircase that they set up for weddings.
The Versialles Ballroom -Fancy pants!
3) Hotel Mazarin (Formally Le Royal)
My fiancee didn’t love the reception venue – I actually quite like it…The Ceremony courtyard is beautiful.
the coutyard for the ceremony
La Louisiane (where the reception would be held) This restaurant is in another part of the hotel so that means no messy tear down/set-up in front of my guests.
Please vote! This is the hardest choice ever and they are all in the same price range!
Thank you bees!!
