So ladies, I have decided to walk down the aisle to one of my favorite songs of all time- songbird. It’s simple , beautiful and the words almost always bring me too tears. The trouble is I love every version and can’t decide which will go best with my other song choices. Please help me out and tell me what you think!
I am going to give you my playlist in hopes that it’ll help you decide which version will mesh better.
Parent’s being seated- Matthew West, When I say I do
Bridesmaids processional- Adele, Make you feel my love
Bridal Song- Songbird 🙂
Recessional- Thompson Square, I got you.
Here are the three versions of songbird and the links.
Version 1- original version by fleetwood mac. I like that it’s the original, the piano is pretty , and I think people that were around in the 70’s will love it . People that weren’t will be like, wow that’s an awesome older song lol.
Version 2- Eva Cassidy remake
This version is much softer, there’s something about acoustic songs that get’s to me. This was originally my favorite version, but don’t know how it’ll mesh with my other choices.
Version 3- Naya Riviera’s version from Glee
So this is by far the most modern version and was done last season on Glee. Being that I am an in the closet Gleek, this would be a shoutout to one of my favorite shows.
Vote for your favorite and then tell me what ya think, or any other ideas you have for me 🙂 Thanks ladies!
