It really depends on the location.  Those websites get their forecasts from weather stations in the local areas.  When I was in Colombia, accuweather was the most accurate because they had more weather stations.  Here in the States, they’re both pretty accurate for California.

It’s really hard to say. I’m always checking accuweather.com before I go to Florida, because I feel like they give the most optimistic predictions!  Weather.com is always saying rain, when in reality it rains for an hour, then the sun comes back out.

My weather-obsessed husband offers this info: accuweather.com has better blogs but weather.com has better maps. However, he says that for forecasts he prefers weather.gov above them all. So he always checks all three, and some others too for good measure, lol.

There’s a big accuweather office in my town, and they’re always wrong about our weather.  I figure, if they can’t even get the weather right in a 3 mile radius of their own office, how trustworthy can they be for the rest of the country? But I’m a little biased because I know and dislike some of their employees, lol.

I use weather underground (just to make it more confusing!)

I had to laugh when I read your post! I’ve been stalking weather.com and accuweather like crazy for my march 13th wedding too! haha

Unfortunately, I have no idea which is more accurate. I just hope for the best 🙂

Mine said rainy, then partly cloudy and today it’s saying sunny and 64. It seems to change every day which is kind of frustrating, but at least it’s changing for the better now… If it changes again I hope it says sunny and 75.

A friend of mine is getting married this saturday (tomorrow! ah!) and hers said 70% chance of rain last week and now it’s down to only 20% so you definitely have time for things to improve 🙂 I’ll pray for sunny weather all over the US on march 13th!
