I got a channel set wedding band because I wanted a little something extra to add to my solitare, but not too much.  I though that the channel set was a nice inbetween.

I switch between two different band sets depending on the look I’m wanting that day.

I have a 2.5 mm french cut band with my 1.5 ct solitaire.  I wanted something subtle and a little bit different than what everyone has and this fit the bill!unnamed3

I chose the matching band. I also have a sparkle anniversary band:

hssweethearts2013 :  Hi! I was proposed to in November with a .90 round solitaire, four prong, tiffany style setting. We chose our wedding bands this weekend after I went in to get sizing beads added! I actually chose two bands. One plain platinum, knife edge that matches the e-ring and one half eternity band with round brilliants. I chose two because I like the option of having the classic, plain band and then a little sparkle if I want too. I can even stack the bands, so I like the versatility. If I remember, I’ll come back and post a pic tonight.

i like to switch it up with something different on a daily basis. but here’s my “favoritest” set:

i chose it because it’s so unique. i’ve never seen anyone wear something similar! and i love that it’s not matchy, allowing each piece to still shine on its own while being worn together. like, they don’t blend into each other. at least that’s how i see them, if that makes sense. and it’s wonderful that the band looks great on its own too, for those times when wearing a lot of bling isn’t appropriate (like at work).

this is my .55ct on a 7 (i think? uk n 1/2) i wanted the twist to reduce the gap created by the twist on my solitaire.

This is a terrible picture, but I chose this band because it matches my husband’s (or, I should say, my husband chose it for me, which makes it all the more special). Also, as I never remove my rings, I wanted something that would never run the risk of cutting into my prongs. I know the gold will wear away a bit over time, as happens with all rings worn together, but it will hopefully do far less damage than diamonds scratching my solitaire prongs. I LOVE diamond bands with solitaires, but at this point in my life, I’m more practical than aesthetic, I suppose. LOL The solitaire is a 1 ct. equivalent classic moissanite.
