I guess for me personally, the wedding band itself symbolizes something more important than the engagement. When we all get to wear a wedding band is kind of like when we get to tell the world, hey, I’m really in it forever. Obviously, that’s the thought too with the engagement ring. Maybe it’s just me, but when I see an engagement ring alone, I tend to think that the woman isn’t married yet. Again, just how I interpret things. Not necessarily correct. Best of luck deciding! I liked the first one, personally πŸ™‚

I like #1 the best followed by #3.

I love ring 2. I have a question, though, since we’re both going to have antique rings πŸ™‚ Is yours platinum? are you having to then look for antique platinum bands to find the same alloy?

I think the 2nd one complements your ring beautifully ! Were you leaning towards any of them ?

Really they’re all gorgeous with your ring. But comparing them side by side I like #2 the least… it might look a little too contemporary for your ring.

Normally I’m all for bling, but there is something about #1 that matches your ring really well. But if you want bling by all means go for #3!!

Sorry this is totally unhelpful, haha. But I really do like all of them πŸ™‚

I voted for number 3, I think it complements your ring really well! I also like number 1! I agree with September 29 that number 2 is too current and doesn’t fit as well with your vintage ring.

@Ms.GoodEarth:  Ah, ok, lucky you! Mine’s going to be platinum, and they don’t use the same alloy anymore, so I am hoping I can find an antique one so it won’t wear down unevenly. I still vote 2!

@September29:  I agree! I thought number 2 looked “off” too for the same reason!

I picked number 3 because it matches the timeframe the best (the 30’s)! πŸ™‚

I’m just happy to see more pictures of your gorgeous art deco ring! Honestly, I think I might skip buying a wedding band for myself for the same reasons you’ve encountered here. I will be getting an antique engagement ring and I have no idea where to start looking for a matching wedding band. Lucky for you, you seem to have a simpler vintage design which looks great with these wedding bands! I picked number one!
