I think that the diamond band compliments your ring better than the plain one. Although, if the plain band were just a little bit thinner I may favor it. Pros for a plain band would be that there’s less maintenance and not having to worry about losing stones or scratching the shank of your ering. Cons would be that it’s less blingy(this could be a pro to some though).

I like the diamond band better, but if I could I would change the little diamonds to be princess cut diamonds instead of round on rounds.

I’m biased, since I have a plain band with my solitaire, but I like how your stone is the star of the show with the plain band. You can always go with the diamond band as an anniversary band down the line.

    I would go plain.

It makes you solitaire look much nicer plus if your ring size. change in the future you will be able to get it resized which is not possible with a diamond band.

Plain band absolute classic. I’d be worried about those little diamonds getting knocked about over 60+ years. As pp said, you can add bling with eternity rings etc in a stack later.

whitebridetobee :  the diamond paved band is so you! The pro of a plain band is that it’s less maintenance. You wouldn’t have to worry about a diamond falling out of it if it wasn’t secured properly in the prongs….. But I prefer the diamond band. It’s super cute and mismatched is sometimes the Best way to go. It looks like though that the thickness of the wedding band in the plain setting is overpowering your e-ring a little.Good luck bee! Any band you choose will still be fine: you can always stack them together later on if you like both wedding bands.

Personally, I think a diamond band looks great paired with a solitaire, and is just as classic as a plain band.

Diamond paved band all the way! I think it really compliments your solitaire and a little extra bling never hurt anyone. 😉

I would go for the plain but in a slightly thinner band. The current one is as thick as your ering and it makes the overall look really thick?

The diamond paved looks really nice too, if you’re the type to like more bling. Honestly it’s really easy to decide isn’t it, more bling or nah? 🙂

I love with a plain band you don’t ever have to take it off or worry about damaging it.

Though I’m quite sentimental and like the symbolism 🙂

I like the look of both. I would go with the plain for vows (something you can keep forever no matter what) and then add the diamond band later.
