Just want to pick your brain.
Which band should I go for?
I thought having a trilogy ring would want me to pick a simple band(a girl can’t have too many stones). But I’m now confused as the band with stones look really good with my e-ring.
My future Mother-In-Law suggests a simple band as I can wear it on its own. But my sisters and friends suggest otherwise. To be fair, the one with stones doesn’t look weird on its own even with the dip.
Also, I can’t have a band with stones at work. But I have seen loads of people with stones on their bands.
Should I go with my future Mother-In-Law with a simple band or be a rebel at work and go with the band with stones?
As always, thank you for your help and your comments are all appreciated.
P.s. all photos are of my hands, they’re just taken with different lightings.

I’m torn… I really love the classic look of the plain band, but I also really like the bottom right photo of the pave band as well. Go with your gut as both are beautiful! Could you get both?

As far as a band with stones goes, I think the bottom right is your winner. It’s incredibly beautiful and compliments your ering flawlessly.
I agree with pp- is it an option to get two bands? Or maybe a silicon band for work? All that said, the plain ban is beautiful and fits well with your ering too. I don’t think you can go wrong!

I voted for the top right because I think in all honestly it compliments your engagement ring the most. I think the set looks great together and has the same overall style.
However I really like the look of the top left and bottom left as well. It makes your set look more modern and a little more romantic.
All of the bands are beautiful.

I’m so confused! The plain band does go well with my ring as well and it really is the easy option(for work and stuff). If budget could permit, i’d have both so I can wear the plain at work and wear all three when out and about. But we’re trying to keep the wedding within budget and that includes our rings.

thank you! Good to know I can choose either plain or stones. Now I’ve got a lot of thinking to make.

I voted for the plain band because I think it looks the nicest with you’re e-ring and doesn’t detract from the e-rings design Xx reenajane :

same!! If I was gonna go for the plain band, I would definitely pick one that is the same style as my e-ring. But I really like top left and bottom left. Sooo torn! If only I could have all three!

Top right, the others are a bit “busy” but the plain band compliments your ring so well IMO.

Plain! No question. Blingy ring for another occasion.

If I had to choose I’d go with the plain band.

Honestly, I think the mobius band (top right) looks the best with your ring AND would look the best as a stand alone band! I strongly considered getting one as my wedding band and would still like to add one to my stack someday 🙂

I was in the exact same dilemma a couple years ago!
I looked at every wedding band imaginable, straight, contoured, diamond, plain and my top favorites were a plain contour band or channel set contour band and I ended up falling in love with the elegant but traditional sparkle of the channel set band.
The only big thing I’d say to consider when you’re deciding is whether or not you’re planning on soldering your rings together. If not, the bands with only partial diamonds (ie: top left and bottom right) won’t often match up nicely with your engagement ring stones. That won’t matter quite as much with the plain band and bottom left band.
I’m sure you’ve seen it on here, but here’s my set for reference!
UPDATE: What I liked about the channel set band is I got the simple elegance and shine of a plain band with the white gold metal against my engagement ring but the sparkle and bling of a diamond band!

Well I am almost always for a plain band and this is no exception, particularly as the other have that ‘ accomodating’ dip in them. It looks lovely , the plain band with your beautiful 3 stone ring,

I have a similar engagement ring to you, and my favorites from your photos are the bottom right and top right.
I like the idea of getting both if it’s within budget and then you can switch them out accordingly. This was actually my original plan until I found my wedding band. Mine is a channel set, like newbeegirl ‘s, although mine isn’t curved. Have you tried on any channel settings?
